What was your favorite memory of beginning school??? Mine was in second grade. It was the first day of school and daddy had the camcorder out. Momma was in the kitchen doing her hair and make-up. I am not sure why daddy did this, but he decided to record me. I sat at the couch and I said " Hello, my name is Amy and its my first day of school and I am in second grade." Then, I decided to do a flip. I then proceeded to turn around and state " this is my book satchel" and mom said, its unzipped. I exclaimed " It is?! Sorry everyone I guess you can see my books and stuff" That was the days, the old metal lunchboxes with the thermos with the flip piece at the top so that you could drink your drink. They don't make them that way anymore....

Hannah is eight and in third grade.
Abigail is six and in second grade.
Jeremiah is three.
Josiah is 5 1/2 months old.

HaHA! I caught you! You spelled your own name "Amy" when you were in the second grade! Um, well, you did in this post anyway. ;) I'm glad I'm not alone in my struggle to keep the spelling of your name straight! (j/k)Also, I'm impressed that you knew the word "satchel" in the second grade, too!
