Where no oxen are, the crib is clean : but much increase is by the strength of the ox.
If there are no oxen in the barn than there is no need for feed or water and therefore the barn is clean. But if the oxen are not being fed and sheltered and properly taken care of then they are unable to do what they were made to do.
In the same way in our life, though we have our mistakes and at times make a mess of our lives, God is there with food ( His Word), Shelter, ( our Family and our Church) and guidance.( the Holy Spirit) to help us reshape our lives to bring Him glory.
