I want to start encouraging each of you with a what I have learned from my Bible study each day. I began doing this via facebook three days ago. I will share with you today's first and then share with you what I wrote the two days. Each day check back for a new blessing :D

" A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike." Proverbs 27:15

"It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and angry woman" Proverbs 21:19

"As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife." Proverbs 26:21 

In the Strong's Concordance Contentious is number 4066 and it means " a contest or quarrel- brawling, contentious discord, strife

This really burnt deep into my soul. I often get convicted about my attitude upon my husband's arrival from work. Many days things have happened and I just want to vent to him and many more times I am already upset or angry when he arrives home. I know that if it were me I would want to come home to a happy home and not into a bunch of arguing or bickering. Many times I am that contentious woman. How I must work upon my own life daily, for I want to be an example of Christ. Being contentious is not being Christ-Like. This is my goal for the day...  Have a blessed day!!

This was my encouragement for Tuesday, October 22, 2013.  

My verse for tonight. " But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement. For by thy words though shalt be justified, and by thy words thought shalt be condemned." Matthew 12:36-37

My thought on this: For those who know me, I am quite talkative. A lot of this is because silence makes me extremely nervous. But there are many times I talk pretty much just to hear myself talk. Yet, anything I say, I will answer to God. So, I should really remind myself of this. For all I do, I want to do for the glory of God.

This was my verse for Monday, October 21, 2013.

My verse for the day. " I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me. I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. Psalm 101:2

I have a foot note that reads " It is in my house that it will be the easiest place to backslide for in my home is where I am most comfortable and act differently then in my outside environment.

* I want to expand on this thought. Many times in our homes we would do things that we would  not do if others are around. We watch television shows that we would not watch if our parents, pastor, friends, co-workers, outside family, JESUS, were sitting right beside us. We drive our vehicles and turn on a radio station that we would not ordinarily listen to, but hey, no one will know because no one is with me. We get on the computer and log into sites that we should not log into. I could go on and on but I think that you get the picture. If you are a Christian, then Christ is with you always, for He dwells within you. You ( and I ) need to honor Him in ALL we do...whether we are at church, home, out and about, at school, at play, at work. God Bless each of you .
