Okay, so like most bloggers, I didn't get to get onto my blog to wish everyone a Happy New Year. After Christmas, my kids and husband got presents that didn't jive with my computer. So I took it to the computer doctor. Well, I got my computer back last night and all is well!
We don't really do New Year Resolutions, but mine and my husband's goal for our family is to get closer to God in 2009 than in 2008 and this happens One Day At A Time! From more devotions, to more Bible reading, and more prayer, within our home. Also, our conversation needs to be pleasant. We want to train our children to be more Christ Like!
I had this on my voice mail and I was told it was too long of a message, so I will ask it here on my blog.
Have you read your Bible today? If so, for how long? Have you prayed today, again I ask, how long? How much is your phone bill, whether cell or at home? No, I am not an employee of some phone company, but the two questions do have a point. That point is, how much you've talked to God and allowed God to speak to you through his word, or His Holy Spirit. Let's stop this, God help me get through this mentality and lets really get to know our Lord!
